Owner
Rachel Kirby
My name is Rachael Kirby, Owner of Little Sunshines Learning Center. I grew up in Eagle River and have always wanted to run a childcare facility. I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at Nicolet while working at two different childcare centers. I then transferred to UW-Stout where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies where I had the opportunity to work at another center and gain valuable knowledge about educating young children. After graduation I was employed as a Parent and Prenatal Educator at a pregnancy clinic in Platteville, WI and Dubuque, IA. There I taught prenatal education, birthing and breastfeeding, behavioral guidance, baby care, and many other classes to new and expecting parents. Later, I was hired to be Director over the Parent Education Department in both Iowa and Wisconsin. After the birth of our daughter, Sophia, my husband and I decided to move back up north to raise her by family and follow our dreams! Sophia is now eight years old and has four brothers. Amos; six years old, Isaiah; four years old, Jonah; three years old, and Matthew; eighteen months. Tyler and I are so blessed to be able to play a role in the education of your children. In our spare time, we all love to be outdoors: going for walks, four-wheeling, swimming, and traveling.

Dani Froseth
I grew up in the Northwoods area and I have worked in childcare since I was in highschool. After graduating highschool I got my degree in Early Childhood Education. Then I went on to get my Administrator credential. I have been with the Little Sunshines family since July of 2020, and I love to get to work closely with the children, families, and staff at both locations! Outside of work I love to spend time with my family. I have a son, Andrew; 4, and two daughters, Graycen; 2, and Madilyn, 5 months. In our spare time we love to tackle a house project, spend time outside, and travel.
Three Lakes / Eagle River Director
Gabby Bukoivc
My name is Gabby Bukovic and I am the Director at the Three Lakes Location. I have been with Little Sunshines since December of 2020. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education through Nicolet Technical College. My goal at the center is to maintain a safe, fun, and learning environment for all students and staff. In my free time I love spending time outdoors with my son, husband, and doggos. You will typically see us out for an adventure walk or pontoon ride.
